filter cartridges

Filtration consumables Polypropylene Melt Blown / Spun Bonded Filter Cartridges are commonly used for Industrial and Domestic Water Filtration Needs. These PP Spun Bonded Filters have a higher particle removal capacity since they are made of 100% Pure Virgin Polypropylene Fibres that are organised in a Graded Density Structure. They offer Effective Particle Retention due to their innovative graded pore structure. Spun Bonded Filters are helpful for industrial processes as a pre- or post-filter. There are many different lengths and filtering ratings for PP spun filters.

Section Title

A filter cartridge is an adaptable part used in filtration systems to remove pollutants from liquids or gases. It is a self-contained unit that typically consists of a filter medium encased in a cylindrical or pleated structure, as well as end caps or fittings for simple installation and sealing within a filter housing.

Based on the particular filtration needs of the application, the filter material inside a cartridge is chosen. It may be constructed from cellulose, polyester, polypropylene, activated carbon, ceramic, or a combination of these materials. The filter medium is made to efficiently catch and hold any particles, pollutants, sediments, or other materials present in the fluid or gas being filtered.

To fit a variety of applications, filter cartridges come in various sizes, combinations, and filtration ratings. For high flow rates, high pressure applications, or specific filtration requirements such eliminating chlorine, bacteria, odour, or heavy metals, they can be made.

A filter housing or vessel, which offers structural support, holds the filter cartridge in place, and controls the direction of fluid or gas movement through the cartridge, is used to house the filter cartridge. Typically, the housing contains an outlet and inlet connection, a closure mechanism, and it could also have extra features like pressure gauges or drains for upkeep.
