Suction Filters

A suction filter is a type of filter used in hydraulic systems to prevent the hydraulic pump from eating debris and impurities during the suction process. It is also referred to as a hydraulic suction strainer or suction screen. It is often found at the hydraulic pump's suction or inlet line. A suction filter's main purpose is to stop solid particles from entering the hydraulic pump, which can harm the pump, cause wear, and result in decreased performance. By filtering the hydraulic fluid before it enters the system, it serves as the first line of defence.
